How Our WordPress Training Works

Training is built around the client's actual installation, covering their theme, their page builder or block set, and the specific plugins in use, because generic WordPress instruction breaks down at exactly the point where a site is customised. The block editor is taught through the patterns and reusable blocks that site already has rather than from the default set. Media handling covers naming, alt text, and the practical difference between the registered image sizes, so uploads do not arrive at full camera resolution. Users are taught revisions and how to restore one, drafts and scheduling, and the difference between updating a page and updating a template. Roles are explained and assigned so contributors cannot alter site-wide settings. Update practice is taught explicitly: take a backup first, update on staging where one exists, and check the site afterwards rather than assuming success. A written guide with screenshots from that installation is delivered, along with a short list of the things that must not be changed without asking, and who to ask.
